Trailboss wrote:Welcome Andrew, ah the Watagans eh grew up there. Plenty of rdies around you neck of the woods mate watch the ride gathering forum. Don’t worry about the size of the bike, it’s the size of the heart swinging the bike I reckonTB
Sweet quote there TB….

That is what I like about OBT, If you start getting your “Dick Out” and skiting how good your are. Some one will always cut the end off your dick and bring you back to Earth.
Now we need some photos mate. Next ride you go on take your camera!
Great news Dusty!! Glad to hear that you have the all clear to get out and ride again! Looking forward to catching up with you in the new year sometime!
Cheers
MickI dunno how long the lap was Mal, but it was taking about 10-15 mins to get around it. The Next Pont Express up here at the track is in two weeks on November 27.
Congrats on the new ride Deano! Nice bike those 690’s!
Too late Toes, I have already seen it!
Just remember Chris, treat the Aussie bush with respect, especially as the weather warms up, take water and let someone know you are out there. Plenty of Pommie tourists have learnt the hard way and not made it back.
Great report Chris. Glad to see the XR is still chugging away for you. Keep the reports coming!
Cheers
MickCorey makes some sense with his post, the DRZ’s would be a good choice as they are great all rounders and are registerable which is VERY important if you intend to ride in the State forests. They are also learner legal so your son could ride it about on his “L’s”.
Other wise a couple of Yamaha WR250’s would be my choice personally.
Gday Squizzy, welcome to OBT. Good onya for wanting to spend some quality time with your son. I regularly ride with my son and we have a ball, although he now all but whoops my butt. AS Katgirl said the Watagans would be the closest place for you to ride. If you travel an hour or two further afield you will find some less crowded places to explore.
Cheers
