and if you have worked on it yourself before you take it to a mechanic the price triples.

Cheers Gibbers, thanks for the intro and welcome to OBT. Hope you find your friend.
anyone got some spare cabin space for Saturday night for this old fart?
Guys, Not meaning to rain on your parade (Pardon the pun.)
I was listening to the Country hour on ABC radio today and they have said they are forcasting 30-40mm of rain and up to 50mm in some parts of the wheat belt very soon. The cloud band has already started to build up.
Ummmmmmmmm, you best put Moose down for this weekend. I will most likely tag along as well, if there is still spots available.
cheers.
PS at what stage of the preparations do I start asking stupid questions.

You know the bike, add some mods to suit your change in how you use it.
Hell, I’m 57 and just getting back in to trail riding [not scrambles or motocrossing] and thoroughly enjoying it. 👿
That’s the spirit!!!
Wise words right there.

Oct 29 & 30 #209415The reason I said you’d need more than 3, is that there is bound to be a hassle of some sort (a flat tyre for instance) and with only 3 riders, you might find yourself real busy all of a sudden.
XR400 guys can chime in here if they want.

Only 3 on Sunday? Is it seniors and juniors? Is Sunday the sprint? From past experience, you’ll need a few more riders and bikes up your sleeve.
To anyone interested, I say “do it” you will have a great day. Especially if you are interested in going in a race, some time in the future. This is the perfect introduction to what goes on, come race day. The best part is you get to experience race day and not have to pay for a great day out and you have helped out at the same time.
Nah sorry Bulls wool, only 600 parts.
possession is 9/10 of the law isn’t it ???. Anyone wanna buy a set of thor pants that are toooooo big for me??
Might as well keep coming right over to Wauchope then, I will be in the shed this arvo
Cole, you’ll have to come round home one day and make an offer, some of the parts are owned by my brother.
