No worries Mate. Pity……
Hey Boony,
It is our 19th wedding anniversary on the same weekend. The missus loved the idea of me and Connor going away. She got rid of us both and wont be pressured for “anniversary marital duties”….

Have fun all and ride safe
TB
Yeah I am a bit disappointed you cant be there too. I know you would have loved it.
Looking forward to your USA Harley ride report.July 13, 2011 at 11:34 pm in reply to: Sweep Riders needed. State Sprints, Mt Seaview. JULY 23-24 #204835Yeah sorry boys.
The resort is a few “stars” above what we are getting.
Anyone that camped in the cold at the OBT birthday ride will think you are at the Hilton in comparison.

I guess you’ll know more soon
Adam.
Ummm Adam, sorry to burst the bubble for you but that isn’t where we are staying the area we will be in is several km’s past the resort. We have our lodging in a bunk house that was built in the 70’s. It is in a top spot though.
July 13, 2011 at 4:37 pm in reply to: Sweep Riders needed. State Sprints, Mt Seaview. JULY 23-24 #204765OK team here are some details.
We need to be on the track to sweep it prior to the first riders heading out. So that means ready to ride at 7am Saturday morning. I will be heading up on the Friday afternoon. I would suggest it be best if you all could do like wise.
Accomodation is organised for Friday and Saturday nights. Beds are available, all you will need is a sleeping bag and pillow.Breakfast and lunch is available onsite at your own cost. Dinner is up to you. You will need to bring something for dinner both nights. The nearest food, fuel and fizzy drinks are a 30km drive so have enough for the two days.
More details to follow as they trickle in. I will be up there this weekend and will have a look at our lodging and the track.
It will be well sign posted so it is really only a matter of heading west on the Oxley Highway from Long Flat and look for the signs to Jasper’s Peak resort after about 30km’s.
Good one Fossil, you have never really come across as a man of so few words in the past.
6/10 for that report.

Trailboss wrote:Should I fear my Jack Russell as much as a Rottweiler or a fighting breed dog, maybe a corgi :laugh:I take your point to a point but all is a broad statement. There are some breeds I will go on record as saying I don’t think should breed even.

Your Jack Russel is a good dog. Silly as a wheel actually. But like all dogs, he has the ammo to “accidently” inflict serious damage in the excitement of the moment.
I agree that some dog breeds are a danger to society, although Even a Pomeranian, toy dog can inflict serious damage to a child’s face.
Sorry, I have trouble trusting any dog after a previous life experience.
Gday Wilko.
Thanks for the intro and welcome to OBT. Plenty of members in your neck of the woods. Keep your eye on the goings on here and you will be hitting the trails in no time.Cheers

Is that any dog Mick?
TB
As far as I am concerned, yes. They have a primitive instinct that will raise it’s ugly head when you least expect it.
Unbelievable   :pinch:
I would shot the bastard,
A dog like that has no place in society. If the bastard gets away with that, something that is more precious (child or some other living creature) could be next.
Dont rip it into me over that statement, I know all about owning big dogs. We bred Rottweilers before we had kids.
We had a a “bad moment” with our dogs and know how a ” good dog” can turn out to be a bastard.
I will never own another dog after that night.
Hey Eags, that bloke who posted that RR is a member here too.
That airfilter set up is the same as the XR600 that I had and I always left the foam section in it. It does make it a bugger to fit the wire screen but as TB said it is there so as the filter holds its shape. I also had a filter that had a nick in it from fitting the screen. It lasted for the whole life of the filter with no dramas ,actually I bet that filter is still in the bike today.
Hope that helps
