Ev, unfortunately, you may need to put this ride on at a later date. They are saying the Pacific Highway at Kempsey is going to be closed for 5 days.
The blokes from down south, will have to reconsider their options.
Regards
MickWhat is it with you Bello boys?? Any time any one from up that way, puts on a ride, we get a major flood event???
Gday Roy. I have a soft spot for Gunnedah. I have an uncle that owns a windscreen business opposite the Overlander motor inn. I have spent a bit of time there. As for your choice of bikes, a double thumbs up from me. Love the XR’s and the DRZ’s are Bulletproof. AS for the Buell, I have a M2 Cyclone, close to basket case, here in the shed at the moment and I am in two minds whether to renovate or detonate. Might have to hit you up for some Buell knowledge.
It runs but the counter shaft is cactus.EDIT: Sorry Roy , welcome to OBT and thanks for the intro.
Cheers
MickThanks Boony, that made me laugh.
It is still bloody raining here!! Unbelievable.
axel wrote:Gee lets hope it stops raining guys. Best of luck to those affected or about to be anyway. Wish some of it would come inland a bit…. my gauge is empty and the forecast all day is “rain”.I wish it would piss off inland too. We have had 11 inches (275mm) of rain here in town since Saturday.
There is only one way out of town here at the moment and that is through Bago to the Highway. Although it has just had a tree fall across it. :pinch:
Plenty of politicians roaring about in Helicopters though. Do some proper work you dead shits, is what I say.I thought you’d be isolated by now Kram. Maybe they will do an aerial drop of some vegemite and sugar to you mate if things get any worse.

Dunno yet Boony.
Wish it was July….then I would have this shitty month out of the way..
Anyhow..to more pressing matters.
Happy birthday Krusty. You crazy, cool when you owned a XR, DRZ riding, CIA loving, early rising Seppo
Thanks for the laughs.

Some good shots there Tramo, seems as though that track would be at its best with a bit of wet weather. Those sandy corners look like fun. :woohoo:
I thought about you guys when I looked at the radar this morning. I bet it was cold. What altitude is Nundle at?? Must be around the 900 meter mark?
Now there is a kid that deserves to go riding next time. Rain, hail, or shine Alex was gunna put a clean bike in the shed.
You silly bastards!! Great photos, good onya for getting out and having a great ride, when most blokes are bunkered down at home watching DVD’s because it was raining.
Cheers
