Boony, just to keep you interested….I won the award for being stupid.
Got a $100 Teknick voucher for drinking about 90ml of petrol. The night before a ride. :sick:I have read that they will crack the filament in the oem fuses as a result of a piss poor mount on the sub frame that lets the fuse holder bounce around.
There is also a fuel pump mod you can do from all accounts, search this site. http://www.cafehusky.com for relevant info on the TE510.
There is also a power cable running from the battery that should be re routed as it will wear through and short out on the frame. Read here. Husky fire risk
I rode a brand new one at a test day and found it to be to tall for my likings. It had gobs of power and would be a handfull in the tighter stuff for the average trailrider. I found the 450 a lot easier to get along with on the day.
That is about all I know about them.
You only have to have a look at the gouges on my Whipps bash plate on my 650 to see how much money it has saved me in the past. One incedent in particular would have trashed my water pump and right engine case if it wasn’t for the bash plate.
Cant speak highly enough of my Whipps bashplate. It must have been when I headed to the servo for smokes then. I was on my bike and he was still in his swag.

I persuaded my girlfriend to smuggle my coke through customs by sticking it up her arse. I didn’t know I could buy another can in the departure lounge.

i dare you to deny that Michael :woohoo:
Guilty as charged!! Although in my defence, I owned a XR600 at the time, the 6Fiddy is a total different kettle of fish.

Sorry Eagle you are mistaken, that was a “Shit I am cold, grimace”
I bought the wife a Memory Stick, it’s great!
She hasn’t forgotten my beer, dinner or sex once since the first beating. 😆Kate Middleton asked the Queen for advice on marriage and a long relationship… she replied “wear a seatbelt and don’t piss me off!”
chris72a wrote:He;s always been a Euro Trash boy, everytime I saw him on the 300 he had the biggest ear to ear grin I think he was having too much fun.Chris.
Chris, Rocket always wears that silly grin. I just presumed he wasn’t the full quid.
But now I find out it is some thing that happens when you ride a Kato.
Glad to see I wasn’t the baldest or oldest bloke in that group!!
wring its kneck Rocket!! If the 530 hasn’t killed you the 300 probably wont.
Nice little bike mate. Now you have the best of both worlds. A 2banger and a thumper. :woohoo:

That is a bit ripe from a fella I saw sitting in his swag eating breakfast as we rolled out for the morning loop on Sunday.
:laugh:Just showing my ignorance, I met quite a few new members over the weekend and am having trouble linking site names to people. First of all, who is this on the DRZ?
