    Gday Reddog.
You’ll more than likely, realise most people on this site aren’t “quiet right”.
Thanks for the intro and welcome to OBT.

another Northern Tablelands man!! There seems to be a few New England boys signing up as of late. I will have to get over the hill and have a ride in these legendary Hills of gold this year.
    Welcome to OBT.

I hope we aren’t going through the swamp of doom this year.

It was funny though (for those of us who made it through unscathed). Chicken had roost flying out the back of his XR600 that high I am sure it was blocking out the sun.

Also beware the slimey causeways. Moose will vouch for that.

Gday Tony. Thanks for the intro and welcome to OBT. Sounds like you have the sense of humour required to handle yourself on this forum.
Will catch up for a fizzy drink when I make my annual pilgrimage down to the Blue Mountains for the Birthday bash.
    Cheers

OK a fella best come forward and defend himself, before TB’s Kangaroo court makes a complete fool of me.

THE FUEL WAS MOST DEFINATELY 100% TURNED TO THE ON POSITION. (I even tried reserve)

The reason I chose to push the bike home is because, all this happened right in front of the police station and the XR is currently in bush trim (regoed but no blinkers, mirrors etc). I saw no point in sitting in front of the cop shop kicking the shit out of the XR bringing constable Blogs attention upon me. Although after the big back fire she let rip,I presume he was hiding under his desk.

The only explaination for it is that I drained the carby last night and found small bits of debris in the fuel. It has done 10,000 trouble free KM since I last checked the valve clearance too, so I might give her the once over before Sofala.
Word of advice to all of you, don’t tell TB anything. He gets bored easily and looks for mischief to create. ;)

The only emarrassment they would be experiencing would be from, being silly enough to confide in you about the incident in the first place, I would suggest.

Since working out for myself who it was, your rendition of events are a little off the mark TB.

    It wouldn’t be a DRZ rider…..no kickstarter
Wouldn’t be a KTM rider…..they dont embarass that easily
It wouldn’t be a Husky rider…..you’d just leave it there
It wouldn’t be a Gas gas rider…..they’d just set it on fire.
It wouldn’t be a XR rider…to heavy to push
    Wouldn’t be Bollocks….he doesn’t wash his bike.

I am afraid more hints needed TB…

I was going only on what you get for your money. One of those stupid Tutu costs more than all the kids protective ride gear put together (and they are expected to have several). Then they expect you to pay to go and watch your daughter dance, which is dog shit boring anyhow.
