Hey Bruce, I would have been inclined to run it at 32:1 and run a BR8ES plug. If it is oiling the plug you may want to lean it off a bit on the carby. Fiddle with needle position would be the first thing to have a go at.
See ya there Richard!! Bit of light rain should make it sweet!!

Now thats simple..Love your grasp on things Rat. Bring all of the above, except for the solicitor and you will fit right into OBT.
Good one Axel, I am actually hoping that you aren’t re-using that piston though?
Ok Scott looking forward to see how the old girl goes. Love seeing older bikes still cutting about! Actually my XR is now 10 years old.

Have fun for me.BUMMER, Aaron you are one bloke I was looking forward to catching up with again.
Thanks Scott. I doubt if there will be that much to do. The predicted high winds didn’t eventuate so I cant imagine there will be much of a problem. Anyhow you are welcome to come along. Especially if you are a mate of Kram’s.
See ya saturday. What bike will you be on???
Cheers
MickThanks Kram, see ya then, not really much work involved. Maybe bugger all.

Funny that………. Normally I post a ride and there are blokes all over it. Mention a bit of work involved and all I can hear is the crickets.
Starters so far are
Mick
Itsagas
Moose
Kram

Just get them on the Oxley highway and point them east mate. Hopefully the sex will be worth you missing the ride at the Cells and seeing the 650’s roost up the loamy/leafy trails. Especially the Cappachino trail, now it has been cleared a bit to allow the fiddys do their stuff at full song. :woohoo:
Bad luck mate. Aaron can tell you all about how good it was.

That is the sort of after sales service, that puts the likes of Safari up there as market leaders in their field.
Gday Greg, welcome to OBT and thanks for the intro. No worries getting on a grade 3 social ride around here!! Seems that 300 Katos are reaching plague proportions around here of late!!
Cheers
MickGreat report TB. Never get directions from a stoned hippy.
you bloody Idiots… you are playing into Boony’s hands??
Fancy a DRZ400 rider asking if a 300 two banger has enough power for serious trail riding??It would eat your yellow shitter for breakfast Boony ,so stop stirring the resident Kato riders and have a go on one.
I rode a brand new , literally out of the box one, at louee and was impressed. I will say that the 300 gasser seems to have more “tractor power” though from what I have seen.
