Check out this site. Quite interesting to see the before and after shots.

Run your mouse over the photo from left to right to see Qld before and after the floods.

    Incredible photos.

Something that has been lost in this thread is that despite the bee bite, Kram and I had a great day and something as mates, we will remember for a long time.

All of this was done on two 22 year old NX650’s that cost less than $2000 each. They go like a beauty and are reliable. Cheap days out really. :)

Best fun I have had on a bike in a while. Money well spent.

    Back on topic then

Mick what’s the name of the bridge and river / creek in the pictures? The pictures are great in this report, hope to get up there and see it all first hand actually one day :)

    TB

The river is the Gloucester river. On the Road to Bundook from the Nowendoc rd. It takes you through a place called Tiri. Dunno the road name though. Great ride, 12 creek crossings in about 6km. Would be more fun with a tyre with air in it though.

That statement is a bit harsh, :(

Things may have gone smoother had my face not been throbbing like a honeymooners dick and I could concentrate just a little on the job at hand. :S

Here is a pic I didn’t use in my report, it gives you a bit of an idea what Richards junkyard looks like.

Dont get me started, on the mad pommie that had just had a day on the mushrooms, that lived up the hill in the caravan.

Or the Rhode Island red rooster that was fighting with the dogs under my feet, over the ownership of a pile of prawn heads.
