Funniest reply I have read in ages.
I too have heard great reports that copious amounts of Vasaline helps. RiderX carries a huge container of it in his trailer and swears by it. Apparently he gets the shits if you use his container of Vaso and “double dip”.
Boony a couple of riders had a head on at Swans Crossing the other day and both were airlifted to Newcastle with multiple injuries including a broken jaw. Swans Crossing is a popular camp ground between Comboyne and Kendall.
Murph my Man.
What you need to do to make life easy for you and you dont have to do two separate reports is do it on a word doc. and just copy it and paste it to as many forums as you like.
Simple mate.
My days of being fit enough to drop into a 8ft swell are well and truely past me now.
I am Just happy to bob around on my 8ft mal when I get the chance.
Gday TJblue. Thanks for the intro and welcome to OBT. I have lived at around Comboyne and Wauchope most of my life and come holiday time we avoid Swanies like the plague. Too many tools get there over the holidays. I have been there and seen dudes on a YZ250 chucking donuts and roaring around the camp grounds with no helmets or shirt. After one close head on miss,I have decided no matter how good the trails are , it just isn’t worth it at Holiday time. Two days before your mates accident we were up near there and I even said to the lads that we wont go down there because of the head on risk. Two days later I read about a head on in the paper. Did it actually happen in the camp grounds??
Bummer of a way to end a holiday.I was also on the ride at the Cells that Boony was on that met up with you guys I think.
Cheers
MickActually……..
That is a pic of me after I was jousted by a hardwood stick that all but just missed my carotid artery and several major organs and speared me of into the bush. Any lesser rider would have fallen off and writhed around in agony but not our Mick,he stuck to the pig like a pro.
Geez AB has given his pipe some loving!!

Hey Lochie!! Welcome to OBT.
To upload pics the best way is via a photo hosting site like photobucket.
Here is a tutorial.
Photobucket tutorialHi siimsdita
Thanks for the intro. We have plenty of members down your way. As for TT600 help, Mucoff Mike has just done a restoration on one.
Check out the thread in the Yamaha section, he has done a great job. As for yours, what sort of help are you looking for? I had one many years ago.
Cheers
MickGreat as always to catch up and spend some ride and shed time.
I enjoyed my run to Port Macquarie on the Tenere. I rode heaps ahead of you, as I didn’t want people thinking the dude on the shitty old NX was with me.
I wish Lessa would be as keen as Sal to do a trip on a bike. A lap of town on the Harley or NX does her.
Maybe it is my riding??
Final list as of now. See you all at 7am at the Wauchope cemetery, 200 meters past the Timbertown Log. Ready for a 7.30am ride away.
