Lets hope the next ride you do up this way with us isn’t as wet as the last one!! That was one of the wettest rides I have done up here ever!! Was still awesome fun though!

Yeah I suppose you are right there XY, it is that not many people know about the 650L in Australia.I have only ever seen one myself.
The point I was making was that there is a huge difference between the NX and the XR650R.

11 years for starters. Two different kettles of fish really.

They are a closer comparison to a XR600.

THe NX engine is very similar to the XR600 with electric start.
THe NX has a smaller carb and doesn’t quite punch out the power the 600 does.

It was basically designed as an adventure bike, where as the XR was its trail riding cousin.

If I have this right in my head, what you have done is effectively put the equivelent to 6 teeth on the back. Which is 14/53 which is also equal to 13/50 if my sums are right.
No doubt someone will correct me if I am wrong.
