Good day to you Steve, good to see Mr McQueen’s face gracing the right side of the screen again.
A heartwarming e-mail message from Glasgow .
“Hi all, it’s snowing like hell here today. My mate says that since
it’s been snowing, all his missus does is look through the window. He reckons if it gets much worse he’ll have to let her in.

This is my 34th year of riding, all without these, and Ive done ok till now! Anyone remember boot savers? No good just looking at them, get a ride on a bike with them fitted and then make up your mind.
When I get on a bike with out them fitted,it feels weird now.Brad wrote:

Hi Kevdog,
Thanks for the intro and welcome to the site. Not far from you up at Wauchope.
Looking at a New DR650 or a 2nd hand one?? If you dont mind a bit of tinkering, The Rowan has one that needs a little bit of work that he is considering selling cheap enough.
Cheers

The other day i got a call from TB offering me the full stainless hand made Staintune exhaust off his bike. A deal was struck and in no time it was delivered along with the oversized front disc off his bike too.
With all those goodies to bolt onto the pig I wasted no time in getting some quality shed time in.
The pipe was a bit grubby from the time spent on TB’s bike,so a bit of elbow grease had it looking great again. Once I got it all cleaned up it was time to bolt it all up.Headers on
Slipped the can on and bolted it up. Sweeeeet
Radiators and plastics back on
Next job was to fit up the disc and caliper bracket.
A bit of chin scratching had that sorted and it was time to take it for a blast out the bush.
You know what??
Sounds good
Goes good
And stops good.
Happy days, shed time well spent. Cheers TB, thanks for the good deal.Leo Kerrigan and the whole Kerrigan family say’s “Tell them they are dreaming”
Dusty, one of those WR’s at Mud n Tar is a 450.
The other bike the have is on consignment and it is a 2004 WR.
It has a 300cc big bore kit, pipe, bash plate and a few other goodies. Also has been lowered as it was a girls bike. Trouble is they want top dollar for it at $6000.Aaron wrote:

Unlicenced is another whole different kettle of fish. Many riders around here, I am sure have put getting a licence in the too hard basket. As they now have to do a course over one or two weekends and the closest option for the local riders here is at Taree. Gone are the days where you could just rock into the RTA and do a test and walk out with your ‘L”s.
