I converted both our PW50s to premix. I just disconected the oil pump inlet and outlet lines and then hooked them up together so that there is a constant cycle of oil running around the pump.

As for fuel mixture 32:1 should do. 125ml to 4 litres of fuel.

If you are thinking about coming. I can thoroughly recommend the Museum. I spent 3hrs there with my wife and kids and still didn’t get to see all the bikes and memorabilia. My wife even got into it and she isn’t that interested in bikes.
    Check out their website

It’s a really useful skill that young bloke has there Mick, looks like committment ++ as he approaches, pity it looks so damn easy but is so damn daunting on logs that size.

Especially with a expansion chamber, like you have to think about Bruce.

    Bundy.

The 6mm nut thingy with the hole in it,is actually your main Jet and the smaller one next to it, that screws out with a screwdriver, is your idle or pilot jet. The needle that hangs down from your slide goes into your main jet.

That is the needle people refer to.

That needle has 4-5 slots at the top of it,that are only visible if you pull the needle from the carby slide. Those slots are what the clip goes in and that clip determines how far your needle will go down into the pilot jet.

I have tried to put this in layperson speak. If someone can explain it better go right ahead.

BTW Bundy,is it idling any better now you have cleaned the carbie??

This was my first ride with the NSW old bulls and not knowing what to expect I started out nervously.
The pressure of not being good enough and slowing the group down etc etc was weighing heavy, but after an encouraging talk to NickJ on sweep on Friday helped me to relax and not worry so much. There was always someone to help out in the tricky areas it was fantastic. Gotowo

As you found out Grant, that is what OBT is all about . We are all there to have a great time on our bikes and meet some great people, not have a race. Thanks for the company.
