“the younger one on the 250
im thinking kleenex should sponsor him for when he has a cry”tells me bugger all and I am sure I am not the only person who is looking at it going WTF   I know its one of the Moss’s that races and something has happened but what
TB
jake moss crashed in the super x when he hit another rider when he got up he pushed the other rider wich caused his his bike to fall back on jakes bike
jake moss got the shits when he went to pick up his bike wich now had the other riders bike stuck on top of it so he throw a punch at the other rider hiting in the helmet (breaking the visor) got his bike up started it and then continued racing
what a role model :angry:Wow what bad sportsmanship on here. I suggest if you are going to bag a rider you get the right bloody one idiot!
Hi Shaun, you seem to know a bit about the incident, can you shed some more light on what went on?
BTW we would rather you enlighten us on what went on as opposed to resorting to what is close to being a personal attack.
Mick
Ollie, last weekend’s ride had me thinking, I stacked my XR and pulled a Hamstring picking it up, out of the mud. I was puffing like a steam train (like the ones that come through Wauchope) At 45 I have been neglecting my health a bit. (Winnie Reds and a six pack a day), it became obvious that my life style is catching up on me, I was rooted.
The last time I saw a doctor was when I flipped the XR and ended up in plaster, going on 2 years ago.
I best go and get checked out.
On the list is
sun cancers(done a lot of fishing and surfing)
Prostate (the idea of that freaks me out)
Blood pressure
my shoulder that has been giving me some curry.(apparently some things don’t fix themselves)Stories like Ollie’s post, make you think about your own mortality a bit.
Movember is a good cause and got me thinking about me and my family.
If you have a few bucks to spare, click on Hatto’s Movember thread and make a donation.Regards

Yeah Hatto, I have flicked a few bucks your way too. AS part payment for picking up my boat motor.
Keep up the good work. I am not allowed to grow one, my missus threatened to withhold that good stuff that she bribes me with all the time.
Cheers
MickMy XR600 had them and it was a 1999 model and my 2001 mod XR650 has the bolt type so I am presuming they went out of favour about 2000.
I am with you Aaron, they where simple to use and I wish my bike still had them.

Yeah Roy, that is actually the easy spot between the two shitty bits.Believe me it is long and technical and I will never be involved in trying to get a big group up it again as there is always dramas.
The Hill we call Rowan’s hill (behind Rowan’s property) always intimidates me, I have never made it all the way up on my first go. It is the big hill that caused a lot of grief on my birthday ride this year.It has two very ugly rutted sections on it,one at the bottom and one right at the top. On my birthday ride it took us the best part of an hour to get all 30 bikes up it. Those who where there, will remember Crash’s heroic attempts at it on his 650 only to get a meter or so from the top of the first section only to run out of fuel.
When I arrived at the bottom on my birthday ride (I was sweeping at the time) The hill was littered with riders and bikes going no where. It was one of the highlights of my riding career to tractor the XR up the first part of the hill on my first attempt (Only to crash further up the hill). There were blokes looking for an option to detour around it untill I tractored the pig up, then they watched 68 year old Allan ride up it on his first attempt, then pride took over and they all had a go at it, with varying degees of successhere are some of Murph’s photos of the hill.
Kram laying down on the job.On the renta thrasher Kato450.

I bet your missus wishes you were single.
The gold rims look like the ones on the 1989 NX650 that is in my shed. Bling Baby. :woohoo:
Kinda looks a bit woggy. Some fluffy dice should finish of the look nicely.
Some examples of what I would determine as single trail
Bago
The cells
Comboyne
Pony express single
This should qualify as single to
This is what I would determine as a twin.
Overgrown logging trail
Single lane on a disused logging trail (still wide enough to pass at speed)
Snotty single
Disused service trail, still a challenge
Pick your own line. LOL
This was a single in the morning. Aussie Offroad
