Dunno why you think it is a gay thread title  The reason I called it that, is because not only did we ride the bush, we were out in the fields as well, there is some great natural terrain and a great hill for practicing wheelies on. It is just a dream place to have at our disposal to ride when ever we like. :woohoo: As far as the potential of the place to be an even better ride spot, we haven’t even scratched the surface really.

As for Connor blitzing me, that doesn’t worry me in the least, makes me very proud actually. :)
Experience doesn’t help either because kids don’t ride with monday in mind  , at the moment I am relying on horsepower alone to gain any advantage over him  .

I am looking forward to showing you the place TB.

    Great read Mick.

No better way to clear new trails than to put a line of bikes through them so let me know when the ride weekend is on and I will be glad to help out. B)

    STM

We tried punching in another trail yesterday but ended up with bikes boiling and carrying on. A big fire went through last year and now is the time to start linking more trails. A day on the quad with a chain saw will have some more trails in the near future. :woohoo:

Actually now you mention it Bol, I just had a look at the boat plan and it does look a little cosy. I think it best If I get another boat.

I think they are supposed to stick the landing if they are doing shows.

Not for JackAss or Nitro Circus :P

I saw the Nitro Circus live in Melbourne and one bloke stuck the landing on a 70 foot jump in an Esky with wheels!!

There was a bloke from the coast at Upper horton on the weekend. Had a 2011 and a 2010 model tm stolen from his shed during the week plus all of his riding gear. Rang the cops, they didn’t even bother coming out, just gave him a number to give to the insurance company. Said that the theives are stealing bikes until they have enough for a container full then shipping them overseas and selling them. I did wonder about how this was done, surely customs would be a bit sus over a container load of bikes and then when they are in the next country would they be compliant to sell.

I have heard similar stories to this and am dubious as to the authenticity of them. I have imported 40 or so bikes to Australia and the hoops I had to jump through and the crap customs puts you through ( Here and at the country of origin )makes me think that the stories are not true or if it is happening a high degree of corruption is happening at several levels on the Australian ports.

Another thing to be mindfull of,is limit full noise testing of bikes in your shed. I have already pinpointed where there are other bikes in my area just by that alone. So could lowlife.

Good get them all sorry thats my view, on the other hand was it five Hondas in the top 10 best sellers in Australia and not a KTM

    TB

Also interesting to note, was that the top selling bike in OZ was the Kawasaki 250 Ninja which is made in India. :S

Curry but not in a Hurry on a 250 Ninja.

Do postie bikes come into the equation? Because they would have to be the highest seller

The CT110x was the number one seller in 05, 06 ,07 and 08 according to a few sites I checked out.

I agree whole heartedly with you Round eye.

One thing that I did notice in my research today was ,they mentioned seeds bought in by unwashed bikes. What about the seeds horses eat ,then shit out in our bush. Do we really want rye grass, oats and other introduced plants in the bush?? The damage hoofs do ,whether it by cattle or horses is equal if not worse than a trail bike can do. It shits me when I see dirt bikes getting the blame for erosion problems, when there are far worse culprits than us in the bush.

Mick are you forgeting the carnarge 1 4wd caused to a freshly graded hill i think 10 bikes hardly marked it while waiting for Puds to get to the top some hero in a 4wd has 3 goes at it and left some OBs stuned at the damage caused from his super digger mud tyres we could never cause damage as bad as that with 100 bikes piss the 4wd off i say
but i also have my own ride area

Hey Bill, I will never forget that carnage ol mate did to that trail that day, it is still cactus.100 trail bikes wouldn’t come close to what he did. I wont forget that carnage we caused to Puddles either, he was rooted at the top of that hill..LOL I was worried he was gunna have a heart attack.
