The problem is of course, hot starting. The heat soak gets to the bowl and the fuel starts boiling and running into the inlet port….Still, makes you more determined not to stall them.

With a bit of practice that is even easily over come. Hot start pffffft. Once you know how, they are even easy to start after you crash them. Unfortunately I have had a ton of practice at that. :blush:

Just spoke to Eric Gorr in the States and the new “slug” (his words) rings and gaskets etc are on their way.
The barrel goes to the engineers for a tidy up today.

Yeah I cant see the point in doing a major rebuild ($600)on a 10 year old trail bike that is still only going to be worth $1000 at best.

Hey Phil there are plenty of things you can do to brighten the plastics with a bit of elbow grease and the right products, what is wrong with them exactly?

Try Ebay,they might have some listed there.
