Can you cut a small section of the end of the lead and rethread the cap back on? Maybe the high tension wire isn’t making good enough contact with the self tapper in the cap.

Dick says an answer is only as correct as the information given
Dick has some questions for you Micknmeld
Dick asks did the valves require re shimming when they were done
Dick asks was anything else anything at all done when the valves were adjusted
Dick asks did whoever did the valve job know what they were doing

THe valves where replaced by a Yamaha dealer
Dick asks what fuel does he use
    Premium
Dick asks what is the plugs colour when removed
Where a 4 stroke plug is covered with a dry, black carbon coating, it may be cold fouled. Dick says this can be caused by the wrong plug too cold excessive idling light loads carburetor choke out of adjustment defective spark plug wire carburettor adjusted too rich and low engine compression
    this is cold fouling.
Dry black carbon, the spark plug cap had come away from the hi tension lead, I screwed it back in but you may be onto something there
Black damp carbon may include the wrong plug too cold again excessive idling carburettor adjustment set too rich this is Wet Fouling. A gray white blistered appearance or burned electrodes could be that engine may be overheating. Causes include plugged cooling fins, bent blocked cores carburettor set too lean this is a result of overheating

    Thanks for your input Dick

Word is that Australia’s own Josh Green (Factory TM rider) who recently won a round of the World Enduro Championships in Greece will be riding at HVMCC this Sunday.
In fact the guy was at the working bee this afternoon helping out, so fair chance he will be there Sunday.

She must have been confused when she said ‘I do’ at the wedding.

Not as confused as she is now, as to why she said it.

Take it for a lap of Bago Mick and write a report. It would be a very interesting comparison against the big 650.

I have owned a few 250 Mxers in the last four years, so I know what they are like.

    2x YZ250F
    1 CRF250
    1 x KTM 250 SX 2T

I wont be taking it in Bago as it isn’t registered. It will get a workout on the trails at my inlaws property though. :woohoo:

I might even use it as a sweep bike this weekend at the HVMCC sprints for a bit of fun.

Have you purchased it mate or is it on loan, hire purchase, rent? I only ask cause when I spoke with your mister for war and finance earlier when looking for you she sounded confused about it

PS I want to know when your first motorcross meeting is cause I would miss it for the world :P

Nice Connor make sure Dad sets it up for your weight etc so you enjoy it the best you can ;)

I originally imported it from Japan when it was brand new and sold it for a steal to a mate and his son only raced it once then got into drifting. It only has 8hrs max on it. I tried to buy it back and a price was set, then old mate decided he didn’t want to sell it as his son may want to ride it again one day. So he just dropped it off and said use it as it was going to waste in his shed. So I would say it is on loan. I have another plan to purchase a brand new 250mxer in the new year.

As for the missus, she is often confused about things I do.

I cant see me racing MX on it, as soon as the gate drops my head turns into a pumpkin and my aspirations out weigh my abilities by along way.

Well, this afternoon has been a good one.,

Connor’s new bike has arrived, he has been complaining that all his mates now have moved on from the 85 class and he was getting too tall for his big wheel 85 and he wanted something bigger, I made sure his sponsors got a good showing in the graphics.
