Hey Nick, I think they will run a sprint series there later. There is a whole heap of rigmarole they have to go through to get the track licenced by MA as well as a DA approved by Council as it is an all new track.

A little Pakistani girl goes to her mother and says, “Mummy,
I don’t want to be a lesbian when I grow up! Her mother says, “What makes you think you’ll be a lesbian, Minjeeta?”

Why do Cadbury’s make white chocolate?
So that black kids can have messy faces as well!

A bloke was sitting on a bus when a gorgeous woman next to
him starts breastfeeding her baby. The baby won’t take it so she says,
“Come on, eat it all up or I’ll give it to this nice man here.” Ten
minutes later, the baby is still not feeding so she says again, “Eat
it all up or I’ll give it to this nice man here.”
The bloke says, “Listen, love, can you make your bloody mind
up, I should’ve got off four stops ago!”

Paddy and his wife were discussing their sex life. Paddy
said, “I want to try that wheelbarrow position tonight.”
His wife asked, “What is that?”
Paddy told her, “You bend over, put your hands on the floor then I
pick your legs up and take you from behind!”
His wife said, “Hmm, okay, I’ll do it on two conditions. First, if it
hurts you stop immediately and, second, … we don’t go down past my
    mother’s house!”

A pony Express is an enduro style race around a marked circuit through the bush. You enter as a team of two and each rider takes turns at doing a lap of the circuit and the team with the most completed laps after 4hrs is deemed the winner.

You can do do it with either both riders riding one bike or two bikes.

First of all thanks Mick for organising such a great ride,

Nice one Boony, all the credit should go to you champ, thanks for the invite. I am still smiling about what an awesome day I had. Just what I needed!! I will admit that was one of the most welcome cups of tea I have ever had!! FOX dirt paw gloves obviously weren’t designed to keep the cold out, as my fingers were burning from the cold. It was worth it though. What a top day and great riding conditions. The XR just laps up that sort of riding and on the main trails she really comes into her own.

It looks pretty tall in the photo Mick

Yeah Jeffro, she is a heap taller than she was before, the rear spring had sagged pretty well. When I am sitting on it I have to reach the ground by tiptoe. I cant believe the difference it has made to her. I have much more confidence, throwing her into a corner and also letting her have her head going down gnarly hills.

Here’s hoping that Bollocks is all OK, I was disappointed to hear he binned it, what a crap way to bugger up what was a great ride in the Cells.

Yeah PEP, Made it home safe, I even had a quick run through some awesome single trail that I spotted the other day near Comboyne on the way. It soon became obvious to me that the MTB boys had cut it in so I will leave it alone in the future, but it was good.

I even stopped to vote on the way home, I got a few weird looks when I lobbed in full riding Kit covered in dirt.

Man I am loving the new suspension on the XR!! :)

I would have thought the original titanium valves would of just needed a gring & Lap to go with the new seats

Stainless steel valves are ok to lap but avoid ginding or lapping your titanium valves. The reason you do not lap your titanium valves is because it removes the surface coating on the valve. If you lap them you will diminish the thickness or you can completely remove the hard surface. When replacing the valve seat it is important to have the valve seat cut in the correct position in relationship to the valve. Serdi or Newen valve and seat machines or a similar machine is a must, otherwise the valve will not sit on the seat correctly and you will forever have valve issues.

Remember that if you are replacing your titanium valves with stainless steel one’s you should also be looking at replacing your valve springs with heavier ones.

Knowing what you do for a living Blue450, I could very well suggest that people take note of what you have said in the above post.
