I swear after the Taylors Arm ride i now carry a few spares like a 17mm spanner
and a range of other sizes and screwdrivers and zip ties.
My last post wasn’t directed at you Corey but now I remember it would have been a bastard of an arvo for you pushing that 450 home in that heat.
The bit about that ride that sticks in my mind was when we pulled up for a rest and it became obvious that you where a little lost as you said ” dunno where that trail goes” and Tripper pipes up “yes you do, you lead us up it 10 minutes ago”
Good Friday trail from memory.
I have just measured the fork sag.
Static (up on a stand) 825mmm axle to top of triple clamp.
on the ground with Connor standing on the pegs 760mm
Difference 65mm
I would suggest that is where his next bike may come from.
Now how do I decide how heavy to go in the springs as there are a heap of different springs available. They are relatively cheap aren’t they?

Thanks Ollie, at the moment this bike fits him perfectly but a quick check of his internet history shows he has been checking out a whole heap of YZ250F’s. He can dream on a bit longer though.

Another thing that jerks my chain is when someone turns up for a 100km ride totally unprepared with no spares and no camelbak with drinking water etc. They are bound to be the person that breaks down or gets a flat. On that note, people that gladly borrow your spare tube then totally forget at the end of the ride that they owe you for the cost of the tube, shit me off too

TB
Well said TB,although I still don’t like being critisised by someone that has never or would never organise a ride themselves.
Going to all the trouble of organising a ride and a feed for them and someone freaking whinges. NO whingers after the Poker run though.
