You will find that Phil has edited the original post to reflect the lower price of $8500 after he posted the price of $8990. I am presuming the new “out the door she goes price” is now $8500 a bloody good buy in any man’s book. I wish I could warrant owning it.

I just checked out the Bajaj website and they already make the Kawasaki 250 Ninja.

Just an update on the Gaerne boots, I gave mine a wash the other day and I noticed that the counter sunk screws that hold the buckles on, had come loose again, all bar one needed nipping up again. If you have a pair it would probably pay to check them from time to time.

Also the hinge on the boot is actually wearing into a section of my clutch housing as well,it suprised me actually how much it has worn into the metal.

Just because the Indians will own a majority share,it wont necessarily mean that they will make KTM’s in India though. Considering the infastructure to produce them is already in place at other locations. It would cost a bomb to move operations dont you think?

They appear to have already done away with the PDS and replaced it with something that will work a little better. KTM_shitter.jpg

give it up TB, you will never get those rims back

possession is 9/10s of the law hey Mick

Yeah they’d be the same rims and hubs he lent to me saying in the same breath “Oh the hub is flogged out and the bearing just flops about a bit, they did 28,000,000 km on my bike, just use some shimming steel and some bearing glue and it should be right.”Ended up costing me close to $100(mates rates) to get the hub machined and fixed proper, now they are fixed he is busting to get them back. Any wonder I am dragging the chain.
