Good call Mal….. wonder what caused the fuse to blow in the first place?
Along as the piggy and Crash came home in one piece and had a great time is all that matters,
Top stuff crash! If any old bull can do us proud at the Condo, it would be you.
Cheers
MickYep that was Ollie alright, going by the description. I bet he was just plugging along in the ute too, It is the only thing that I can think of, that is actually slower than him on the GasGas.
Yeah classic alright, after 2 weeks and 6 days my thumb still looks like this.

There is a great deal of personal satisfaction in doing your own repairs and it also puts you in good stead for when things go belly up on the trails. It is good to know the workings of your bike. Congratulations Katgirl for having a go and fixing your problem, some unscrupulous operators may have charged you an hours labour to do that job.
Cheers
MickProbably a good thing Kram, I was thinking about tackling “The Rowan’s Hill” again.
So it looks as though we have
Mick
Itsagas
Tripper
The Rowanand that is it.
There is a RiderX boot camp on today but I had too big of a night last night to contemplate that sort of stupidity. :S
OK Kram, talk to you about where we are going when I make up my mind where to go to miss the holiday traffic on the trails.
Well done Roy!
Great call, the OBT knowledge pool amazes me at times.Geez Busy223 you were lucky you got the pin back out of the case with out having to go right into it or it jamming your gears.
Hey Jeffro, while you are in Melbourne you should take your bike and get Menace to give you a “Tour de Glenmaggie”
What’s with the “Gimp Giggle” on the 2nd video Mal
The 530 is jetted fairly lean from the factory and opening up the pipe will make it “pop” somewhat. Once we fitted the Akrapovic with out the end cap the popping got even worse, even to the stage that in low light you would see a blue flame come out the exhaust!!.
You could try this, move the clip down one notch (richen) and change the pilot to a 45 or 48. Turn the air/fuel mixture screw out 1.75 turns and you are done.
You probably wont fully eliminate the popping but it will minimise it. If it is really bothering you and you are looking for a bit more power, you could get yourself a JD jetting kit for it.
Also it may help if you seal where the headers join to the muffler. A hi temp sealant will do the job but dont start it for 24 hrs so the sealant can cure.
You can just imagine the blah Honda blah Honda blah that would be going on at Condo right about now. The boys would have had the chance to jam a rum or two into them by now.
Kinda wish I was there.

magic spot you found there Murph. Top pics too!! Looks like a great day out with the young fella.
Cheers
mickDunno Mick, seems as though you have checked everything that I would. We had a RM85 once that pulled that caper and it turned out to be a crank seal, not that it would effect your display lighting.
One of the 2T gurus on here may have an answer for you over the next day or so.
