Some of the first albums I remember buying were Meatloaf’s Bat out of Hell, David Bowie’s Ashes to Ashes and War of the Worlds.
Before I opened this thread, I though who was my favourite band in my teens and I came up with Pink Floyd, great minds think alike Al.
Here’s my all time fav.
Toes, Gassit and I pre ran a section of a ride I am planning to do on saturday, this arvo. Bago is looking better than I though it would. A bit of sloppy stuff here and there, it is a bit bony in sections where the soil has washed away and exposed some rocks that weren’t there before. A few trees down that required a detour, generally a fun ride.
Thanks for the birthday wishes. I had a great day, woke up in Coffs Harbour after a night at the Hoey Moey. Went to a swimming carnival at Coffs Pool then drove home and pre ran some of the ride I am doing on the weekend. Bago was in pretty good shape considering how much rain we have had. THe high light of the day was seeing Toes get filled in by Gassit in a spectacular fashion!
Welcome back Champ! I too was wondering what had happened to you. Good to hear from you again!
Cheers
MickHopefully it will still be right for Wauchope on the weekend, we are hoping to pre run it Wednesday arvo and see what rubbish is down on the trails. It is gunna be wet but it will still be rideable, I will most likely have to cut some of the planned sections out though. It was always meant to be a social weekend anyhow, the ride is just a bonus!
Hey Toes, still half keen. I might jam a new tyre on and see what the weather is doing after lunch.
GDay Robbie. Thanks for the intro and welcome to OBT. Where abouts in the New England are you?
Cheers
MickI also just saved the young bloke 2 doors up $95 on his XR400 this arvo. He was just about to pay his NRMA renewal.
Muc off will be in Wauchope for the breakfast at Bago. You can ask him for some there!
Happy birthday matey! I can only imagine the shenanigans that will go on tonight, now you have an excuse to play up. :woohoo:

February 21, 2013 at 8:57 am in reply to: Drinks, Breakfast, Bikes and Bago. Wauchope 9th March #236963I was speaking to Barry at Breckenridge Farmstay this arvo and he told me he had 16 people already booked for the weekend.
Is there anyone else coming, who are planning to book in to stay? It would be best if you booked soon so he knows numbers.
Also, he also said that he is prepared to put a BBQ on for us in the late afternoon at a nominal price for each rider ( I would suggest it would be cheap). The proceeds of which, he will donate to Down Syndrome NSW. If you are keen for a feed when we are having a few social sips Saturday afternoon, please let me know so we can cater for you.
That is pretty wild mate! Not only the massive fish kill but some of those washouts would just swallow you and your bike up!
Good onya Boony. Yep the decomp is a bit of a trap! My Xr started to do it every time I turned hard to the right!
