    Really??? Are you fair dinkum or are you just trawling again? :laugh: No gearing up is nessesary as the standard gearing they came with would suffice and it WOULD make it to Perth.

    Yeah yeah yeah,my XR is a dinosaur.I am happy that it is,to be honest.It still goes well and it goes most places where the Katos will,then I have the luxury to change the gearing and ride it to Perth and know it will make it there should the desire overtake me.

    Dinosaurs?? The XR’s will still be going strong when all those flash Katos are dead and buried I would dare to say.
    XR’s are a fine example of over engineering. Good luck with your recommended 70hr rebuilds.

    I dunno what I am doing even defending Honda…mainly just to argue with you I spose. The only reason I ride a Honda is that they are the only ones that made XR’s. :laugh:

    ERzberg is in Austria and where are KTM’s made? Kinda stands to reason that there would be a strong contingent of KTM’s.
