Great report so far Hatto. Poor bugger on the DRZ, fancy having to kick start your bike all the time, how draconian ;)

I was talking to a fellow down the shops on Saturday & apparently there is a track from the footy oval coming out just before the golf course. I will ask him again & check it out.
there is also suppose to be a track from the ghost rd coming out near the lake cuts out more tar apparently its a track Hollis use to use

Now you are talking!! I think I know where the track from Ghost road behind the Lake is.It would cross Ryans road somewhere?

    Hi Mick

I know a way from cathie to Lighthouse and the lake being close it would be a easy trip

    Strucky

Trouble is with your route Strucky is to be legal you will need on of those permits from the council and you have to watch out for camels too.

That would be sweet Ollie, if you can get us to the Old Cost road,I can get us home from there.

Proposed route for a great loop.

Bago into Cowarra, over Jolly nose to Lake Cathie(will need Puddles input here on how to get to Port Macquarie from Lake Cathie with minimal tar).Maybe a beach run.

Over Ferry and up Plommer road, turn into Limeburners and do Krams loop. Then up to Crescent Head pub for lunch and a run up the beach towards Hat head before returning to Maria river to cross the highway, onto the old Coast road.Thence back via Rollands Plains via Bull’s place and up to Bellangry and then down to Beechwood and Wauchope, all up about 240km.
Epic loop with a bit of everything. :woohoo:

From what I have witnessed on here as of late. Three months at Ningaloo, off the alcohol and drugs, will do you a world of good Murph

Good looking ride there Mick, maybe there’s some of that we can use on the Friday ride you know what I am talking about ;)

That was exactly what I was thinking when I plotted this route, although the Limeburners section would be very suss if we have had any rain. You can see how deep the bog holes are and it has been pretty dry here as of late.

I have another big loop in the mountains planned should it be wet.

Yesterdays loop has at least 40km of tar but I think I can cut a bit of that out with Kram and Ollies help.Instead of crossing back over the ferry we would go up the Maria river road and cut across into Kundabung and back to Wauchope that way adding a heap more Km’s.

The motor is on the boat and going like a beauty, I took my kids and Mooses kids for a blast up the river this arvo. A good way to spend a hot arvo. Thanks again to all the people that made it happen.
