Yes a mechanic by trade a plant mechanic to be exact, quite different to an auto sparky. Want tracks on your dozer? Fine! Lights dont work? Call a sparky. :laugh:Seems as though the young fella goes alright. Congrats on being a top dad too.I love spending the day at the races with my kids.
Cheers

Quote:the best jetting for the klx is 48pilot 162main drop the needle clip 1 position, also wire the accelerator pump and run the mixture screw at 2 1/2 turns out, change the leak jet to a 55 or 60 (this is the small jet in the float bowl) this is the jetting used by MSC Kawasaki Off-Road, the klx can go backwards if its to rich on the main so it can be a bit tricky to get it spot on! the MSC bikes run Barrett Exhaust with a Uni Filter.
hope this helpsWell thought out informative first post there Mark, welcome to the site mate. Why not do an intro and tell us how you know all about the KLX.
Cheers
MickGo on, let Betty off the chain. It is funny to watch her antics after being locked up for a while.
:laugh:Has she forgiven you for throwing her in the puddle at Bill’s??
are you scrutineering Dave? Will you be dressed ready to ride in time? Bill said you can borrow his bike didn’t he?
To be honest, strippers and the likes aren’t really my scene.
I will be at The PE bright and early as Connor’s sign on is at 6.30am.
Ours is 9.30-11amOH BUGGER!!!!!
I have been invited to a bucks party the night before the pony Express and………there is gunna be “entertainment” :woohoo:
And knowing this bloke it sure will be “entertaining.” :blink:Decisions decisions :S
I wasn’t doing the 4t v 2t thing Bruce, it was more of a CC thing, that I was on about.
650cc v 300cc plenty more big time compression. The difference is your piston has the circumference of a tea cup as opposed to a dinner plate.
Thanks medogrocket,
The diagram is just what I need. Yes there is another dodad behind the headlight that has a sticker on it that says regulator/rectifier CDI unit. It also has a barrel shaped do hicky with two wires going to it,straped to it with a rubber band thingy. It is a totally different unit to the AC regulator that has fins and is found under the seat.Trailboss wrote:
