Gday Knackers, yeah we had about 7 spots and a bit of thunder and lightening just on dark yesterday but that is all.
I have been up since 4.30 am and the sky has been clear all morning but it is starting to cloud over now.Hope we get a bit of rain as we have the last round of MX tomorrow and it would be good to have minimal dust.

A little while back I was offered a “cheap” XR 600,on close inspection it was noticed, it had the engine numbers crossed out with a chisel or the likes.Ol mate assured me he hadn’t pinched it and it was like that when he swapped it for something else ,Thanks but no thanks,no matter how cheap, I wouldn’t touch it, out of principle.Somewhere down the track, that was someones pride and joy and I am not gunna support the stolen bike industry.
If you are offered cheap stuff, give it some thought before you support the thieving pricks.
One day it could be your bike being offered cheap.

I liked the way the old tyre didn’t look all that out of place as a rear guard on the XL.

At work had plenty of time to discuss the pro’s and cons of cutting the frame but came to the conclusion they would just re weld and ride it into the ground until replacement time i.e stealing time and dump the old one, when the thing siezes.

You wouldn’t want to cut the frame of an XR,the frame is also the oil tank,it would make a hell of a mess and seize in no time.

You are so on the money Mick – drink, smoke, ride, ride bad women (if your not married of course) dont worry about the small stuff and try to re-evaluate the big issues and make them small, do what ever you want cause tomorrow you might not wake up.

Thats how I try and live.

What does the lovely Kylie think about that??? LOL
