I used to be right into it when the average joe blow could rock up in a Celica and race (Hardie Ferodo days),heaps more entertaining then, than it is now. My old man and I would watch it from start to finish, now I watch the start and head out and ride my bike.

There will be not much happening at the shed this arvo, as we are all going to Moose’s place for a bit of flat track fun.I doubt if they are lighter than standard pegs Boony. Having owned several sets on different bikes,I love them and will always use them in the future. The first thing I notice when I ride someone elses bike is the lack of pivot pegs.

Yeah there is a couple of new additions in there since you were here Aaron. The KX65 is the latest.

Thanks for the advice Mr Blue but backing off on the schooners isn’t exactly the Old Bull way.
I was just pointing out that the site is growing in leaps and bounds. Proberly faster than was expected. The backyard BBQ,as you call it is all but out of hand. In a good way that is. :laugh:Congrats on the 500 STM.350 of those posts would have been organising the big Coffs ride  . Glad you have enjoyed your time on OBT. At the start I dont think we could have imagined that the site would have grown like it has. After having the best part of a week off from the site, 10 new members have joined in my absence and it is now getting hard to keep up with who is who at times.
Cheers
MickWelcome Magic, I too had the billfish bug and fished for marlin for years(the addiction was so bad I had a 20 year lay off from riding bikes) I have tagged and released my fair share of marlin and other high speed pelagics. Having been there done that, I am toying with unloading some of my rods, reels and associated gear (24kg,15kg and 10kg outfits),if you are interested, to help finance a 85 big wheel upgrade for my son. Where are you based at? Did you take that pic of the black in full flight? Here is my favourite shot I took of a mate hooked up to a baby black.I won a depth sounder with this pic.

Anyway cheers and thanks for the intro.
Cheers
MickWell,it was still an entertaining game of footy. I was watching it on the big screen in the Melbourne Casino with my brothers and a few mates, it was packed and the atmosphere was great!! We had great arvo even if we were going for Parra.
The last penalty was a tad disappointing just as Parra had a bit of a roll on but hey, that’s footy. -
