Our company car is a Camry Altise……….same shape and colour as Moto’s Taxi,just not as fast. I have worked out that it can easily be shifted into forward whilst still moving backwards.

The amperage a wire of 4mm CSA will vary depending on the quality of wire used. For most applications a 4mm CSA wire should be good for 10 amps+. If the bike cable is thinnner than this Scotty may well struggle.
I don’t know about the stator but your commenst make sense, it’s probably not rated high enough for 100W, if it is it will be very easy to replace the wire with some 4mm stuff though.
