MUUUUUUUUM!! Have you got another Twenty cents, the ride has stopped!!
Well it finally happened,my trusty XR630R is no longer in my possession. After selling it a month ago,it’s new owner finally came and picked it up.
It was sad to see it go, as it was looking the best it has done for quite sometime. In the time I owned it, I put 8000 trouble free km on it and had become rather attached to it (actually I became detached from it on many occasions.)
I had plenty of excellent adventures on it,none better than the Hill End Ride, the ride on my Birthday to Ellenborough Falls was a cracker too!!
Here’s hoping the new 650 will be as much fun and as good a bike for me as the old BRP.
If the Ride TB,Moose and I did around the Mid NOrth Coast was any indication how much fun a 650 is,I am in for a good time.Moto wrote:

The tyre sounds like a good deal to me.
Welcome Corey,
Plenty of guys on the Mid north coast riding especially around the Port Mac/Wauchope areas.
Single track mind will be the man to ride with up your way though. I think he is near Arrawarra somewhere.
Just for the record how did you find the site??
Cheers, hope you guys can make it to Wauchope sometime.
MickObviously you guys had a rip roaring time on the Rumbos last night.
Lisa thinks what you wrote is hilarious, I even detected a small snort whilst she read the thread. On the other hand i do believe it is now………………….

Quote:I’m interested in this Thumstar racing series, must be a money-spinner for the importers what with a new bike for every lap for every rider and all, mechanics with arc-welders on every corner, instead of Flaggies, and no way could you ever do a Lemans or cold start, the spectators would be back in bed fast asleep before they all started, and the noise, do you give out free hearing protection to all the surrounding farms?
Champo, how secure do you feel clearing the doubles on it, does your butt clench tighter than Mike Tysons cellmates’ knowing the rear shock mounts were welded by seagulls with sunglasses? These questions and more are boggling my mind.

LMFAO!!!! Gold Bruce,pure gold!!

Good onya Champo, China has is running in 20th place as far as international visitors to our site goes. A whopping 86 page views for last month. Now you have single handedly alienated us from the most populous motorcycle riding nation in the world.
Have you tried the local tip??? China bikes should be 6 deep there.

The first bit was from the Simpsons when Homer hits a deer in his car. That is what inspired my first response. Then we ran with the Julie Andrews thing.
Sorry about the thread hijack. At least Champo and I got a laugh out of it!! Thought TB may have picked up on the fact it was a scene from the Simpsons.
Anyhow back on topic… It surprised me that Knight rode a privately owned KLX though. I thought factories would have been lined up at his door the day the news of his exit from BMW broke.
