That only shows light to moderate rain?

Mate it has to be a Noah flood before the radar goes red. Moderate is enough to flood. If you look at the live version on the link I posted you will see small orange and red flashes, the still I pasted didn’t catch them.

    MINOR FLOOD WARNING
    FOR THE BELLINGER VALLEY
Issued at 8:21 AM on Thursday the 21st of May 2009

    Flood Warning Number: 1

An average to 45 millimetres of rain has fallen during the past 12 hours to 8
am today [21/05/09]. However, the rain intensity has increased during the past 3
hours, with up to 20 millimetres falling during this period.

Further heavy rain in the order of 120 millimetres is forecast for the next 24
    hours.

This forecast rain is expected to cause minor flooding at Thora.

At this stage it is not possible to predict the flood peak because of
uncertainty over how much more rain will fall.

Further rainfall is possible over the next 24 hours which could produce some
further river rises. The situation is being closely monitored and revised
    predictions issued if necessary.

    Predicted River Heights/Flows:

Thora – Exceed Minor flood level 3.0 metres around 11 am today (21/05/09)
Reach 3.5 metres around noon (21/05/09) with minor flooding

Didn’t we cop it last night. We had a huge storm here at about 1am.You wouldn’t believe the wind and rain.

I`m heading over to port tomorrow morning for a 21st sat night. Are they predicting port/wauchope area to get the stuff the north coast is copping?????

The forecast is that we will probably get the high winds and storms but not the amount of rain they are getting up north.
