easyThe most sensible thing I ever heard on this site!!! I like the way you think Champo!!
Pity Melissa doesn’t think it is such a crash hot idea.

You could try my approach.
Extend both legs out, in outrigger fashion, then approach the sand at an appropriate speed, like 2-3 km per hour whilst holding onto both handgrips firmly. Try to maintain your speed so as not to go over 3kmh as injury/death may result.
It is important, whilst in the middle of the sand trap, try not to think about all the damage the sand is doing to your chain and sprockets, doing so will only distract you from the job at hand.
It is also advisable to take your goggles off, in case you catch up to someone in the sand and the sand being roosted at you, ruins your lenses.Or you could do what I have seen less experienced riders do and that is, stand up on your pegs, with your arms straight and your bum towards the rear guard with the throttle pinned, roosting all and sundry.

A very tidy bike by the looks Dan!! The old RMX is a very capable bike.
Holey Cow!!!! I just down loaded the 4bp (Moot designs) Catalogue from our sponsors banner and am very surprise at how inexpensive their products are!!! Their package deals are something you should really check out!! Bugger buying big brand name stuff when the 4bp gear will do the same for half the money!!
