    All systems GO! The XR is ready, I have been to the Forestry head office today and the bush fires wont effect where we are going. Dust will be the only issue. :huh:

    Nice bike Storky, a whole heap tidier than the one in my shed. Now it is a goer though, we might get a bit keener to do some work on her and bring it back to its former glory.

    I can’t make Nundle as I have family commitments on Sunday. :(

    Anyhow Snowy, I would be happy to show you boys around Bago anytime you want. :woohoo:

    As for Moose coming on this ride, he confirmed this evening, so at least 2 of the 3 Amigos are riding this weekend.Haven’t heard from the Goldfish though. :huh:

    So far, confirmed as going is;

    Mick
    Razzle
    Ferknerkle
    Moose

    I seriously doubt if we will see Toes turn up, as I heard a rumour that he has got a ticket to a corporate tent at Tomorrow’s Port Macquarie cup horse racing meeting. Drunk and disorderly I would suggest.

    Whereabouts is the cemetery (and don’t say “the dead centre of town” :) ) ?

    Head straight through town up the main street, keep going for about 2km until you see The Big log in front of Timbertown ( you can’t miss it). Continue along another 200 meters and it is the first turn on the left. You can see the parking area from the main road. You have my number, so call me if you get lost!

    It is on the corner of the Oxley Highway and Old Hwy road.

    I kind of figured that, unless he can get hold of Stex’s KTM renta thrasher.

    We will be meeting at Wauchope Cemetery car park at 7.45am for a 8am departure. I will have to wing it at the start as Bago has been on fire for most of the week and I am not sure if it has burnt any of the planned route. Once we are up and over Bago it will be ok from there. It will be dusty though.

    well done

    i had a buell firebolt – great bike, still regret selling it but gravel roads were taking their toll on its bodywork !

    How did the drive belt stand up to gravel roads?
