Nah all is good at this moment, the rain has stopped up the valley. It will peak at Midnight and I can’t see it getting to bad here. Good thing is, there will be no dust for a while!!

Gday Ian. Plenty of riding going on here in the fabulous but very wet at the moment Hastings Valley. Put your name down for a blast sometime.
Just from interest, how’d you find about the old bulls??
    Cheers

MAJOR FLOOD WARNING BELLINGER RIVER Issued at 10:20 AM on Tuesday the 17th of February 2009

    Flood Warning Number: 23

Up to 375 millimetres of rain has fallen over the past 48 hours to 9 am this
morning. Rainfall has become heavier with 77 millimetres recorded at Dorrigo
and 74 millimetres recorded at Thora in the last 6 hours.

The Bellingen River at Thora has now exceeded the major flood level. Major
flooding is also expected at Bellingen – similar to the March 2001 flood.

Further rainfall is possible over the next 6 hours which could produce some
further river rises. The situation is being closely monitored and revised
    predictions issued if necessary

    Predicted River Heights/Flows:

Note: these are not peak predictions – further heavy rainfall this morning may
cause higher flood levels to occur.

Thora – Reach 7.5 metres with major flooding around noon (17/02/09).

Bellingen – Reach major flood level (8.2 metres) around 1pm (17/2/09)

Actually, Chris, what I did, now that I think about it further, was to put in an ASCII character for an upwards arrow by pressing ALT-2-4. Just so you know, that causes the whole thing to bugger up!

DONT DO IT AGAIN!!! WE JUST GOT THE BILL FOR THAT!!! LOL
