Connor and I will be keen for a weekend up your way again Bull. Name a date and we will see what we can do. Although I have a few trips to Sydney to make between now and Xmas. The dates excape me at the moment though.
Hey Chrisadv,
The third button from the bottom, on the far left side of your keyboard, will actually turn off the capitals.
No need to shout around here mate.
Bad luck Vince, here’s hoping you have a speedy recovery!
Happy birthday Al, you young whipper snapper.
Doh!! It is bad enough to do it, let alone having it captured on video!

The swamp of doom is a great ride, I love it, it would be great at the moment as it is a bit dryer.
Here is a well known member of OBT in the swamp of doom.
Here is Bollocks trying the “easy way”
That was the day that ar$ehole Ollie, filled me in the worst I have ever been filled in. And yes it was my birthday.
Here is Moose on a different day, in the swamp, on a dry day!
It is a great place ride though, nice rutile sand that provides a nice grippy riding medium and lots of critters running about to make the ride an experience.

huskybloke wrote:nice roadies Mick what size was the RDThe RD was actually a 250., but I had a head on with a Charger on it and I managed to write it off. So after getting the wreck back I got a front end, tank and plastics off a 350, so that is why it looks like the 350 model. It went like a 350 though, as it had all the mods possible, it even had no head gaskets, I used valve lapping paste, to lap the heads to the barrels and used a copper spray on gasket stuff to make it seal. It raised the compression ratio to blazes! It was one cranky 250!
If you go to the swamp of doom, don’t go with that C#@t Ollie. :pinch:
If you are going to adjust your float level, you will need to bend the tab that is connected to the needle upwards towards the needle, just a fraction 1-2 mm max. This will make the floats push the needle closed earlier, allowing less fuel to flow into the bowl.
Could be one of a couple of things causing your problem.
1) as LC said a sticking float needle. (A tap on the side of the carb may fix it.)
2) a bit of shyte stuck in the needle and seat.
3) float level set too high allowing the fuel to keep running into the float bowl. (me thinks this will be the problem) You will need to get the correct measurement and adjust the tab that operates the needle.Yep Razzle, you were in the Maria River State forest. Couple of fun little rocky hills to play on in there. That is Ollies old stomping ground.
