When you read a KTM thread like this you’re glad it’s in the Bullpit!Funny you say that Moto, I just had to check if it was in fact in the bullpit.
Funny thing is that I didn’t dent the pipe but all the marks on the pipe seem to line up with the gouges in my plastics from when I threw the BRP down the road in November.
Nah they don’t make them anymore. They are a great multipurpose bike. You can single trail them one day and the next day ride it to Perth.
Well that pipe has a bit of history. Firstly let it be known that not one dent in that pipe was put there by Me.
That pipe has been owned by TB who will claim it never looked like that when he owned it.The next owner of that pipe was Chicken, who TB claims was responsible for all the carnage that pipe has experienced. CHicken actually gave me the pipe for free,so I stuck it on and it has just stayed there since.
As for power loss I couldn’t tell you as I never got to use it prior to said dintage. The XR punches out plenty of power anyhow.
The pipe is much louder than the standard pipe so,it sounds like I am getting more HP,but I am not a good enough rider to feel the difference of 1 or 2 extra HP, but it sounds good.
Nothing like a bit of noisepower to make you think you are going faster.:laugh:In TB’s words, that pipe has had a whole lota love.

PDS $80 to replace moving parts and 15min install time start to finish linkage hmmm $300+ 2hrs and a six pack later it still has movement because the bushes were a extra $130When you ride a KTM,apparently it is an easy and cheap job to put the suspension back in.
They are kinda like gouges more so than dints.
PDS
I had never heard of it.
I presumed that every KTM came with a Product,Disclosure, Statement. The KTM boys seem to have gone quite on us MR blue.
When you ride a KTM,you are convinced it is a race bike.
When you ride a KTM,you will have the shits with MR Blue for starting this thread.
When you ride a KTM,you must have KTM stickers on your car.

Dunno how it would go with stainless? It is pretty tough stuff.
WEll I know for a fact it would NEVER happen on a XR600.
