Dave I spoke to Rick at the recent 85 school you were conducting. He and his mate on the DRZ were there just checking the place out and I swooped on them and went “Old Bulls Blah blah blah”
Don’t get us wrong guys. Having organised and ridden several larger rides (over 15 riders) I feel that I am qualified to speak on the subject.
It is all well and good to turn up at the designated meet spot and do your ride. You’ve paid your rediculously low $20 for the supplied lunch and fuel. You know your bike is full of fuel, the air filter is clean and the chain is lubed and you know you went out of your way to make sure it was done and that is it for the day,Right?
Please consider what the guys involved in organising the ride do prior to the ride.
Pre running the trails, organising the food, setting up a fuel dump, crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s, just so you can have a awesome ride with a group of guys with the same passion in life.
Please accept the fact that if we cap the rides,it is for a logistics reason, if your are prepared to help us set these rides up, you are more than welcome to help. if not, please accept any management decisions we make.
We (as in the NTH Coast OBT) also reserve the right to adjust the amount of riders, relevant to the help offered.
Hoping this is OK with the masses?
Cheers
MickJust thinking to myself, I am a long way from where I was last saturday night!!!
Man I enjoyed that ride, it was certainly worth the effort.
Thanks to everyone involvedYou guys have to much time to think,I do believe.

Quote:Maybe mate, we’ll see how I’m travelling after a few months of attending rides and stuff. The killer is my family come out for 3 weeks in October and I need the holiday for thatIf my family was coming for three weeks I would go somewhere on holidays too…LOL
Have it on record that I can’t stand cricket either. I see it as a serious waste of riding time. I cannot see the sense in standing around in the sun hoping someone will either hit or throw the ball at you.
I just changed the title a bit and it seems to be there now.
Try this.See if this brings it back.
The original thread is still live. I just called it up from my history.
I just realised I have some pics of the ride that haven’t been posted so here they are……
Moose in a familiar scene having a Durrie.
Champo, standing there with a funny face
What were you doing here Chamo?? Paying homage to the mighty TM?
Moose making a grand entrance in the dust.
The BRP, Bozo the clown and a hole in the wall.
Can’t work out where this is.
Champo and the BRP at the gates of Hell
The crew preparing for Tiny’s grand entrance
Snicker snicker…bwaaaa…..snort.
The only bed at the Hill End Hilton that saw any “action” on Saturday night.
A pic of Salina skulling a drink
Trail side party
The perfect place to take the kids for a picnic..IDIOTS
Toot Toot.The Chicken train.
A hill with boulders laying all about.
A fat dude watching a boulder rolling down a hill.
Hey, I tell you who has been very quiet about all this, CHAMPO, I reckon him and Racey Tracey would give the mixed teams class a fair nudge.
If everyone in our area for goes their hand out in exchange for infastructure, we could actually have a hospital that could treat you within 7 hours of crashing your bike .
