That is the kinda guy I am I suppose. I still kinda feel guilty, that’s why I am dubious about selling anything to Mates, I would rather not know if it blows up. I have sold 40 bikes in the last 2 years and that is the first one that blew up just after it was sold.
When it is fixed,Moose said he will deliver it to Kemps Creek for you.

Yeah you are right ECKS!! He has posted it on there and is still online over there. What goes TB? Leaving us mate?LOL
Gotta love that pic of the 650 on DBW with the OBT guard stickers on it as bold as can be!!! Love it!!Bastard!! Out riding while we were working!! Then have the ordasity to post the fact!!
Great report Husky ol mate. One consolation about not taking a camera is that photos never give a magic scene justice. Sometimes it is just good to enjoy the moment. Lucky break meeting the friendly farmer dude, nothing beats local knowledge.
Cheers

Pretty ordinary photo that was,or do I really look like that?
Anyhow back on topic. I am currently working on a magazine article and will require a few pics from the weekend in Hi Resolution.Hopefully the people that took them will let me use them.
I will need the one of me in the ditch by Champo, the one of Tiny in full slide by Scotty.
THe one of everyone in the water, cant remember who took it.
I will have a look at all the other pics and decide which others I will need as the story I am writing unfolds.Moto wrote:
Quote:Good idea Mick capping it at 25 riders, it’s pretty hard to keep that many going without big holdups. The Hillend ride was testament that it can be done thoughSaturdays ride will be a totally different Kettle of fish to the Hillend ride. It will take nearly all day to go the proposed 130 odd KM’s that are planned with 25 bikes.

In a spur of the moment, rash decision, I bought my boat off a mate without asking the wife.
I towed it home and arrived after she was in bed asleep.
The next morning, I woke up in a mad panic trying to think of a way to break the news to her.
When she got out of bed I still had no idea what to tell her, so here is how it went.
Mick. “ Ian sold his boat yesterday”
Lessa “He did? How much for?”
Mick “$3500”
Lessa “ Geez that was cheap, you should have bought it!!”
Mick “ I did” With broad grin on my face.
Lessa. “What are you doing buying things without asking blah blah blah you %&*#@”
Mick. Now with smug look gone from my dial “But you just said I should have bought it”
Lessa “ I know I said that, but at that stage I didn’t know you had bought it, you bastard.”Sometimes with women, you will never win.
Still to this day I reckon it was the best $3500 I ever spent!!
