Hahhahahah Now you mention it, Tumble Boss’ famous video on the Widow maker, deserves to be in the “Trip down memory lane” thread.

Who is game enough to post it?

I wanna see it again.

TB, When I started this thread, I knew you, of all people wouldn’t be able to resist posting something like that. :pinch:

As for the buy part, it will be Tripper’s problem, not mine. ;)

I had a good bit of luck a few years back with currencies. I put $10,000 in a friend’s account in Japan after converting it to Yen. (with the plan to buy a couple of second hand MX bikes). Just after converting it to yen, the Aussie dollar dropped against the JPY (read 40%) and all of a sudden my $10,000 was $14,000! After just 3 weeks! Needless to say I cashed it asap! And I never did buy anymore bikes out of Japan as our dollar sucked against the JPY and it still does to a degree.

You can be lucky sometimes, it could have gone the other way and I did my arse too.

The last time we rode the “closed enduro loop” behind Ollie’s old’s place, it was pretty “how ya goin”, it was a bit over grown and the bottom section was wet as blazes and had been trashed by 4×4’s. That was about a year ago though. There are still some good tracks in that section of bush though and a few tricky little hills to practice on.

The Vespa is cool I think and it can’t be any gayer than my mighty 1968 C90 cub!! I am still yet to ride it in public, the kids have a ball on it in the yard though.

My guess is that it is the standard carby. The boys in the states chasing HP all go the the edelbrock pumper carbs.

TB is probably the best fella to answer the cam questions, he is away this weekend but I am sure he will chime in and sort you out, upon his return. ;)

Hey TB, where did you get the Neoprene ones and how much? I noticed my ones are starting to perish.

Done. Booked into the quacks for a full health check tomorrow. There is a health initiative that offers free checks for blokes between 45 and 50.

Why not take advantage of that, was my thinking.

Struth Gaz! Bloody hell mate. Good luck with it.

Your case is exactly why, I started this thread in the first place.

Having said that, I haven’t been back to see my doctor since my little scare.

I will book myself in again today though.

    Cheers

I was looking for something else and found these gems. Some classic Old Bull Video from the Poker run that Toes filmed. I t was a tricky hill that caught more than one Old Bull out. I dunno what was funnier, the carnage or Toes’ mad laughing.

Tiny does it hard and Nickj makes a meal of it.

Then Snowy makes an ever bigger meal of it.

Thanks for looking into it and the call TB, I now know the errors of my ways.

An idiot armed with “some” information is just a bigger idiot until he gets the “right” information.
