Hows that?? 16 posts about sweet F.A!!!
I knew you guys couldn’t help yourselves…LOLAnyhow, here is what happened.
Yesterday, I got wind off one of my clients, that he and a few other Real estate agents from around the place who have all of a sudden gotten into dirtbikes, where going for a ride and I would be welcome to join them for an after work spin around Bago.
The deal was to meet them behind Timbertown at 6pm, as it turns out the reason we were to meet there, was because they where on Motocrossers, as in YZFs and that is where you go if you are trailing an unregoed bike to Bago.
They proceeded to kit up and I asked them where they were going and their response was”Dunno, do you want to lead us somewhere?”
Okey Dokey I thought, saves being in their dust.
The first bit of single trail I lead them on was piss easy but I had to wait for freaking ages for all of them bar one guy. All of a sudden it dawned on me that they had all the gear but no idea!!!
So I quickly recalculated a loop very similar to the one I take Connor on his KX85, up on to Bago and down through Huntington and back to Wauchope, about 30km all up and relatively easy on a MXer.
By the time we eventually got to the top of Bago after all the delays we had on the way the light was starting to fade a bit, so I thought a quick blast up the She Oak trail and back via the Red Clay hill and Milligans road would get us back to Timbertown before dark.
When I got to the top of the She Oak trail two of the boys weren’t far behind me so we stopped at the top and waited for the other two. Hmmmmm dead silence from down the trail.
Then after a little while I hear a YZ fire up and it was getting the shit revved out of it, Hmmmmmmm I thought again, sounds like someone needs some help down there, so I fires up the XR and cruise back down to see what the problem was.
Well there is a bit of a rock that you have to get up, not a big rock by any means, it wouldn’t even give an 85 trouble. Ol mate had gotten the front wheel up onto it and was off the bike revving the piss out of it trying to get the back wheel over it and hadn’t he dug a fine trench trying,he had single handedly turned what was an easy obsticle into a bastard for future rides up that trail.
He was red faced, sweating and puffing and swearing about what a heap of shit the bike was blah blah.
I got the bike off him and got it out of its predicament quite easily, by then the daylight was fading very quickly, so we had to make a mad dash via the fire trails back to the cars as I told Lessa I would be back 7.30 – 8pm and it was already 8 pm and we were still in the bush
with some of us on bikes with no lights.
Anyhow to cut a long story short we got back to the vehicles in the dark and cut our engines, when all of a sudden one of the guys starts going off his Head, FAAAAAARK, FAAAAAAARK I CANT WIN A FAAAAAAARKING TRICK, he kept yelling.
Settle down champ, what’s the matter?? He looks at me and says “can you see something different” while pointing at his car. Then it dawned on me, there was nothing sitting where his brand new trailer was when we left.
Some dirty rotten Bastard had pinched his trailer!!!
The other trailer they had on the other vehicle was left unmolested as it was padlocked to the car, so there you go, a lesson learnt, nothing is sacred even here, in good ol Wauchope. I am darn sure I will be padlocking my trailer to the car from now on!!
And to the pricks that stole the trailer, I hope some bad Karma is coming your way, you dirty rotten bastards.Gday again Scalejockey,
Having been on TT myself for some time I have seen you around at the BRP forums. Congratulations and Welcome you are our first member from the States, so that makes you our American correspondent. As you may have noticed we tend to be a little more relaxed than the crew at TT or another Aussie site I could mention, most things are up for discussion here except politics and religion so enjoy your time here. I am sure TB is gunna want to see some pics of your XR650!!
Cheers
MickI hate dirty rotten bastards.!!
