RiderX went on a ride this morning to plot a trail for the ride on the 17th January. We will have ride details up for this ride mid week I hope.

Chris further to your questions on the locked thread regarding the Wauchope ride. Wauchope is 21km from Port Macquarie. There is a ton of accomodation in Port and at that time of the year it wont cost you a bomb. There is also family accomodation at Breckenridge farm stay at Wauchope. That is were the rest of the crew will be staying. Have a look at the link..
http://www.breckenridgefarm.com.au/. It is about a 20 minute drive to Port.

You certainly are cracking yourself up this morning MR Rat. Mate the XR was in its element there yesterday. That is the sort of riding I initially had in mind when I bought it, not the gnarly RiderX boot camp sort of stuff. Although she holds her own quite well in that environment, even better if it had a more capable rider at the helm.

No Mate they are still slow even with a capable rider…..Hang on you nearly got me again ……all the capable riders are on ORANGE….I am going to the shed to the no toil air filter oil…time to oil some filters

I am not gunna get the last word in this thread am I Dave? I too, am going to the shed to clean some filters. Then mix some fuel as the kids are having a grass track ride at Moose’s place this arvo if it doesn’t storm again.

I will have you all know, that my XR performed quite admirably yesterday..Thank you very much.

Did anyone notice Mick saying he had the ride but no other riders were there…..Hang on a minute I forgot ….he rides a Honda…..Change of name to….NIGEL NO FRIENDS….He rides a HONDA…it is all making sense now

That’s not very nice David, did you read the bit about the Kwaka rider that wouldn’t even ride the road??? If it means having no friends when you ride a Honda, so be it, I can live with that.
The reason I was on my own is because I couldn’t be bothered waiting 10 minutes for anyone else at every corner…LOL

Not likely, but China is where all the shit products that are being palmed off onto the Australian population come from.

Chris I have found an email to the parent company in the states telling them of their agents lack of respect for the retail customer usually gets a real fast reply from the Aussie importer, especially if that email was sent from all the other old bulls who have similar fate with O’neals crappy gear…try thor next time

All well and good if you can type Chinese.

David David. I have since taken your advice and now throttle on down hills with my brakes on. The screaming and yelling you do seemed to have no effect on my speed when I tried that.

If your looking at throwing away your hard earned dollars buy a pair of these crap boots. They are good for about three rides then it all turns to shit. Mine have probably seen all up ten rides now (give or take a few) and I have now got cracks, a lock cam has ripped off, the inside of my left boot has blown out and on top of it all they leak like sieves.

I emailed the importer and told them of the problems that I have had, but they have still not replied. That was around a month ago now.

Next time I’m going old school all leather boots and giving the leather – plastic ones a miss.

Same same with the Oneal M10 boots. No satisfaction from the importer there either, all they do is take your money and run.I got three months out of them before they started to fall apart.

The Moose and myself are looking forward to it to Eagle. This arvo I took the XR out the bush for the first time since the crash and showed her who was boss. Had a ball, but it was hot.
