Nigel I look at it this way, Twenty years ago I had a Tycon padded jersey and that was state of the art safety gear!!! I never envisioned me wearing body armour either, now I wouldn’t leave home without it. I know a few guys that now won’t leave home with out their Leatte.

I broke my wrist a year ago. The cast came off after 8 weeks. The first week was interesting (as I had never broken anything) than the next 3 weeks was “ok” but the rest felt like a disaster.
