What a happy bunch they were:angry: . LOL:laugh:
KTMRAT is from Port Macquarie as well, he has red hair, big bushy beard, two big orange eyes and is a rat.LOL
I only asked because he seemed to know you had a DRZ?????Guilty as charged. Untill recently I owned two 4x4s,I only own a Nissan Patrol now though and I used to do the weekend warrior thing on a regular basis.I never pulled capers like getting deliberatly bogged though and making monumental bog holes.
I suppose everyone has to use the bush responsibly or we will have the same situation that is happening in the US with all the forests etc being closed to all recreational vehicles.Dave and Knopey, do you guys know each other??????
I agree moto, The XR and the 530EXC-r are two totally different bikes, with years of difference in technology. The XR600 pretty well remained the bike to beat in its day and most of the dedicated trail masters had one at the time.
If I had to choose which bike to go on the 3 state ride the KTM would stay home in the shed as the XR would be in it’s element having a seat and all.
The KTM is a much easier bike to ride in the techie sections in the bush though,I love that light clutch.
Still love the tractor though, took it for a spin last night, love to get a set of motard wheels for it, but explaining that to the missus would be a waste of time.LOLMy XR is 8yo and never had the valves adjusted. That is one of the reasons I love my tractor. Ride it, wash it, stow it, then repeat process.
One more ride before I fit it. I gave the other one to Moose last night for doing the backup vehicle thing when you guys were up here and he was stoked.
OH yeah speaking of the oil filters, how will I get some payment to you, ol mate?
