Nigel, If that happens again just hit your back button and then submit it again.
But to be safe, I always type long responses and posts into a word.doc then copy and paste it into the reply box.
Something else that will work is if you have a long post, copy it before submitting so you effectively save it in case shit goes wrong.

AS of this morning, Moose’s missus Kathy has agreed to meet us mid trail (Swans Crossing)and feed us on the Saturday ride.(Probably chook and bread rolls)

It hasn’t put you out of action has it?? I rode for three days with a cracked rib last time the boys were here,you just have to stand up and ride the whole time as it hurts to sit. It is still a bit sore to touc hand that is all but 2 months ago.
