Hey Zippo have you heard from Rich yet?
Well sorry about that….ha ha no am not. I thought old mate Squirrel was you, thats why I gave you a serve.
AS a matter of fact I did have a bit of trouble starting the 990 and was surprised to see it posted on the site so quick. That squirrel bastard must have some connections. Now with the internet, the bush telegraph seems to work heaps quicker.
I spose it would stand out a bit in town on a saturday morning., some clown running down the road pushing 200kg’s of bright orange bike and leaping on it only to have it skid to a stop.
Thank god a couple of fellas came and gave me a hand. We had 4 attempts to start it before I thought about hitting the starter button at the same time as I let the clutch out. That worked. You forgot soft . I am Old Slow and Soft But still tough enough to kick start an XR630 and if the mongrel 990 had a kicker on it I would have got it to go as well.

Yup you got me!!! Old and slow.
Slow race, you gotta have a slow race!!!
Just got a phone call at 4.20am from Tripper630 (AKA Chris) to tell me his missus just gave birth to a healthy baby BOY.He sounded stoked when I spoke to him. Congratulations to him and Shannel. It is the first boy born to our family in over 11 years.
So I don’t know whether that rules him out or in for next weekends ride???
BTW don’t phone calls in the middle of the night freak you out?Fossil PM your home number and we will have a yarn.
Yeah that’s funny. Karma deserved.
I even thought about how you would type it for the post, but being musically challanged, it had me stuffed.

How do you know about Rapongi Hills in Tokyo? Any manner of shit goes down there, if there is a place in the world that really goes off, it is there. A laugh a minute.
Tow rope, is a good name for it as I have never seen it get home any other way!!!
Mate you took your time, I’m open to suggestions……….Working out three days riding for a group with out doubling up is hard work. Ant and I are going out in the morning to finalise the big loop. leaving at 8 am if you are Keen.

Na mate, after a heap of trips to Japan I love scooters. I have seen scooters on the streets in Japan that will beat a 250 motocrosser off the mark.
That is a fantastic photo,Does anyone know the story behind it???
