Good idea for a thread Chris, I was thinking about posting it myself.
I am a Plant mechanic by trade but I dont do it anymore. I work at our local newspaper, where I design the advertisements and write the occasional story plus I keep an eye on what is posted on OLD BULL.
My wife and I also contract staff out to a wedding function centre most weekends. So come spring and summer we get pretty busy with that and Saturday rides are all but out off the question.

Ahhhh the old Akubra classic,I have done many laps around that circuit!! My father once owned the Sawmill that was on the Speedway property,I use to ride there every afternoon for years after school cutting laps on a yz80,they also had a scrambles track down the bottom near the creek, great fun times
The speedway track used to be oiled,I dont know if it still is? in this environmentally correct new age.

    Ollie

Yeah it is still oil and looks like fun!!! I had never been there before, my son and I rode up on the KTM990 ADV and had a ball but it pissed down at lunch time and they called the meeting off. We then rode home in the rain and my son still goes on about how good a day it was.

Mate that’s all you need, I could have any bike I want to be honest, but choose to have my old tractor because they are good honest bikes, that you can fix in the back shed. There is three of us here, that love our XR’s and ride them most weekends. I would like to do something to trick up the suspension though.
I still would like to see a bigger picture of your beast.
