Hope you didn’t wake up and say something tastes like shit only to find out they did the scans in the wrong order. They do knock you out for the reverse angle shots don’t they.

WE joked about that very thing Roy. They do knock you out for both ends. It isn’t that bad to be honest, ( No stupid comments, please), surprisingly you don’t feel a thing. :)

This pic below was a good day out and sticks in my mind as a great ride. Except TB crashed out early that day and smashed his radiator.

Gday Steve, thanks for the intro and welcome to OBT. Living where you do puts you in a great location to get yourself on some rides, whether it be north or south of your location.
    The ride grading is simple.
Grade 1. being do-able in a family car and grade 5. is something I would only do on someone elses bike. Actually I would normally shy away from a 5 on any bike, because I am old and unfit. Grade 3 is usually a fun day out with a challange or two thrown in. On OBT rides you needn’t worry to much as we always help everyone through.

    Cheers
    Mick

Who’d thought, that OBT would have made it this far!! When I first stumbled across TB on Thumpertalk, he was squarking about this fantastic site that was up and running in Australia and that I should check it out.

I did check it out, only to discover that it had about 2 or 3 members and had been running for approximately 3 days. That is when I decided, I better give these poor simple bastards a hand to get the place up and running and somehow found myself voted in by TB and Chris as the very first moderator of OBT in no time at all. It was a good 3 months into OBT before I meet TB face to face and even longer before I met Chris.

I remember sitting in front of my computer in the early days, thinking to myself, I wish someone would post something, now sometimes I wish, you all would stop posting for a while, so I can catch up on all the posts!!!
I am pretty sure my missus curses the day I first got involved!! Sometimes I even curse being involved, as you would imagine, being on here pretty well every day for the last 4 years, but I wouldn’t have it any other way, as I have met some great people that I wouldn’t have met otherwise, who will remain friends of mine for life.

Congratulations to Chris and TB on the success of the site, even though I don’t really think they set out to have it grow like it has. I bet they are as surprised and as proud as I am at OBT’s success.

Gday Tonyp, thanks for the intro and welcome to OBT, Nice choice of bikes, they seem to be the latest 250cc bike of choice around here too. AS a added bonus we now have Rock Motorcycles in Port Macquarie as Our Honda sponsor and they will look after you should you need anything for it.
Keep an eye on the ride gatherings and you will find yourself out in places you didn’t even dream existed, such is the combined trail knowledge of the members here.

    Cheers
    Mick

Shit a brick Tezza!! That’s bad luck mate. It reminds me of when I ended up with my leg in plaster, the week before one of our Xmas parties at the Watagans. I still went and got drunk with the boys and hobbled around on crutches, so consider coming out to the party still as I had a good time regardless.

I am pretty sure that bike on the poster, is in the front window of the Unit store in Harbourtown on the Gold Coast, if it isn’t it, it is a bloody good replica.
