She is a H model. Have you thought about getting a 350 rear wheel for it. The 350’s had a cush drive but the 250 didn’t. Whack a set of boysen reeds and some unifilter pods on her and she’ll go like a beauty.

My first taste of proper gravel rash came from a RD250LC J. I bought it new at Brian Collins Parramatta and two weeks later threw it down the road. Later on I also had a 350 H for a while.

I remember the day you got it, a quick carbyectamy and away she went like a scalded cat! To think it has stood up to Matt’s abuse is testament to what a good bike the RMX is.

Must have been a good boy this year, the missus is shouting me out to the flashest seafood restaurant in Port Macquarie. Might have something to do with not throwing a Mick’s Birthday ride this year! The first time in 6 years that I haven’t pulled a caper like that!

Thanks for the birthday wishes folks! Hopefully work will slow down a bit, so I can get out for a decent ride in the near future! If I leave it too much longer I will have to get an environmental impact study done in order to move my bike!
