Are you dead set keen on the YZ85? Of all the 80’s I have dealt with, the YZ is the one I would only recommend to very experienced riders. They seem to lack the bottom end of the bikes with power valves ie KX or KTM. From what I have witnessed they seem to lag a little at the lower revs then come on the band like a ton of bricks and go like a scalded cat up top. They just seem to be more of a handful than the other brands in my opinion. I have had a great run out of our KX85.

The first ride on Saturday will leave Bill’s place at 9am and return a few hours later for lunch. Another loop will be done in the arvo for the fellas that couldn’t make the morning one. Due to the recent rain the last bit of Bills road isn’t suitable for any cars that have been lowered and you will have to contact Bill, as he has a plan B for anyone that has a lowered car.

It is gunna be a bit wet in the bush as it has rained a fair bit during the week, but the good news is…….

Forecast for Saturday………….. Sunny and 26 degrees. :woohoo:

I also noticed that Pilot air donated $100 to my total too!Good on them! I am in the need of a better compressor. They will be the first place I call when the day comes.

Sounds like a real cool machine you are building Pete, you wont need that much power mate, just duck in behind me on the NX and slip stream.

The screen, I got made, works a treat. ;) I took my Daughter for a spin to the top of Bago on the NX on Saturday.

The Gully raker, off in the distance in this pic, caught up with us and absolutely dumped on us, so the screen got a proper work out on its first ride!!

Sorry for the late notice but Choko is out due to unforseen work dramas. I am looking a little dicey as I have bike dramas but should have it sorted by the weekend hopefully. I would hate to have to pull out at the last minute and shaft someone that really wanted to go, so if there is someone that is a def and wants to take may spot I will give it up (reluctantly).

Shit excuse Fossil, I know that you have a perfectly good XR in the shed.

    Scurrelous lies……..

We wont let the truth get in the way of a funny story. Here’s my explaination.

    1) that isn’t a gimp mask, it is a Mexican Wrestling mask, although now you mention it, it does look a bit like one.

    2) It wasn’t at the Sydney Mardi Gras , it was the Wauchope one. It appears that I was the only participant.

    3) Yes, I did get $500 for my trouble,

    4) I did it as a stunt for our local Radio station and Yellow pages. $500 is $500 in my book. If I think back, I could probably think of a couple of times I have done worse for less.

    5) I did the stunt with the full backing of my wife. Connor wouldn’t get out of the car though. :P
