Been there a couple of times in the 4×4, looks great for bikes, although I would always be worried about the big ARB bullbar around every corner! Thanks for sharing.

Big swell for Lake Tekapo!!
Nice bike there matey, we will have to organise some Bago Lantana pin striping for it?
If Nick can recommend a aftermarket shock I would be interested and so would Moose’s brother John. Nick did wonders with my forks, it is a pity the rear lets it down now. I already have an after market shock in mine but it is pretty how do you do. It is made by an English mob called AVO, maybe it could be rebuilt?
VIP tickets to Nitro Circus in Sydney in May. :woohoo:

MickMerry Xmas to you too King Strucky!
PS Nice Alpine Star shirt. I bought one just like it when I was in the States.
I didn’t get as many rides in this year due to the new job, but the rides I did get in were memorable.
The Wauchope to Nambucca ride rates a mention but I think the Scrapheap Adventure takes the cake for the best ride this year for me, it had a bit of everything, action, adventure, a tense moment or two, adversity, mechanical failure, lost support vehicle and most of all plenty of laughs in the night time sessions. All the while we were raising funds and awareness for Down Syndrome NSW.

I am now convinced………I got nuthin’
Good luck with it Scott! There is good money to be made in push bikes at the moment I reckon. I broke the chain on my Giant in Bago the other day (long push back I might add). I took it to the bike shop on Saturday and $442 later I had a bike I could ride again! How I could destroy a Shimano XT hub and a gear cluster at the same time beggars belief! Anyhow it is sporting a whole new back wheel now, that doesn’t wobble from side to side!
As side thought, you will have to stock XXXXXXL helmets to fit over turbans wont you?

What a great result! I bet there was an sense of satisfaction when she fired up for the first time!
