Hey Mr Blue!!! Long time no hear! Funny you should turn up today. Were your ears burning yesterday? TB only said yesterday you had gone quiet and low and behold, look who turns up!

Mick, some cracking shots on the new Nikon. By the looks of the pics I’m going to say it’s a new Nikon D3100.

;) ;) Good one Scotty! I know how you know! Tell what lens and shutter speed, I was using and you will really impress me then!

I’ll take a stab at this photo of Chicken.

Lens I’ll go with 18-55mm VR. Shutter speed 1/1600 or 0.000625 second. Would you like me to add aperture and ISO? :P

Close !! I had a Hi Def 1.2 wide angled Macro extension on the end of the lens. Forget detective, go for Inspector.

Great to see eveyone on Friday night a couple beers and a great fire in the new pot belly ,and there is a new map on its way Mick I have taken out of Jake poket money.

    Cheers

    Strucky

Strucky dont worry about the map. It was a Comboyne one and if I manage to get myself lost up there I need flogging, seeing as though I grew up there.

I should also add that Toes said it was 5 kilos and we thought that it was, until afterwards when I came clean and told Nick and someone weighed the bag and it was 4 kilos

and I will be picking up sinkers and sorting them out into their respective sizes for the next 6 months.

That is if I dont get lost out in the bush first ,after the kids used one of my new topographic maps to start a fire in TB’s new pot belly stove!

How funny was the footage Nickj caught of his own big come off!!!! That $50,000,000 Goggle camera, certainly payed off that time!! I would have been happy enough to sit there all night and watch that over and over!

I was just thinking. All that grass track and no spills. I find that hard to believe. Now we’ve had the glory shots I can’t wait for the carnage shots. Great photos. Thanks for sharing.

Roy, From all reports and from the footage I saw, a majority of the spills were out in the bush. Not that many incidents on the grass track. Which is surprising considering it was freshly cut with a slasher just before the boys hit it. It looked bloody slippery to us spectators. I did see Nickj make a miraculous highside save when he was riding Spuds WR450 though.

Had a few characters turn up at my place Friday arvo looking for a drink and a ride.
AS I had a crook back, I was relegated to the sidelines and couldn’t ride, so I was able to have a few more drinks than normal and I was happy to handle the catering side of things. The shed shenanigans on both nights were gold, as usual there were more laughs than my gut muscles could handle.

When the boys hit the grass track, I had a ball with the new Nikon cracking off a few shots of the “racing”.

    There was no racing really.
