I have been on that ship, that video is in the Lido deck Buffet on the Pacific Sun.
Good story and pics Pete! Looks like a fun way to see some country!
Bob, you are a spinner! Said in the nicest possible way.
I wish I was there, I love those sort of conditions and so do XR650’s. When things settle down here at Chez Micknmeld, I will be keen for another blast up on the Banana coast, no matter how wet.
Well done guys, it has made for good reading.
Cheers
Mick.Yeah Jeffro, got all keen after reading EV’s ride report and looking at Videos.
Good one Snowy, you boys seem to be getting out a fair bit. I got all keen yesterday, but I couldn’t find anyone keen, not even Connor could be enticed out in the rain.
Just got a call from TB, they are at Hampton pub after travelling 630kms today, of which only 90kms was black top. He sounded knackered and was seriously in the need of a rum or two. Tomorrow sees them head out to Bathurst and the Bridal Trail before finishing the ride in Blaxland tomorrow evening.
Great ride report! Great pics too. Well done to all the guys who headed out. LC appears to be loving the Berg!
No sooner did I post the above post I recieved a call from TB. They are headed to Jindabyne to camp by the Lake tonight.
Of the group that started out there are only 5 left. A couple of guys have pulled the pin for various family reasons.
They have been tackling some monsterous hills today and are at the Buchan pub having a few lemonades before heading off on the last part of today’s ride.
They fitted new tyres at Dargo after TB only got 1300kms out of his back tyre and Nick is now running full MX tyres on the Beemer.
All going well the boys should be in Sydney late Sunday arvo.Just an update, the boys spent Australia day at Dargo pub and are now headed east toward Buchan (never heard of it) It is about 60km north of Lakes Entrance.
No other major dramas that I know of.Nice one Lefty. I wondered to myself the other day whether the previous damage to the water pump had anything to do with it. you confirmed that! well done.
I cant believe how many times a Bello ride has been stuffed up with flooding rain. It seems every time someone tries to put a Bello ride on, we have a significant weather event here on the Mid North Coast. It goes back 3 years now here on OBT, right from when Aarochild tried to run a ride up that way. The best laid plans can be stuffed up by the weather. Good luck with it EV and congrats to the boys that are still willing to take it on!
